Are you a recent Psychology graduate with the ambition of working with a primary school helping to develop the social and educational skills of SEN children?
Do you believe you have the correct subject knowledge to give SEN children the best possible educational opportunities as SEN Teaching Assistant?
Do you have the correct communication skills to be able to converse and support the SEN students within the Primary School?
This Primary School is looking for a caring and supportive Psychology degree graduate, committed to giving the best educational support to SEN students, giving them the best possible opportunities to perform to the best of their ability. The School has a valued and experienced SEN Department, determined to give each SEN student the opportunity to have a brilliant education, following individual care plans set by a specific member of the SEN staff.

This role – In this role you will be working within a fantastic SEN department committed to giving the best learning opportunities to SEN children, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable in a school based environment, with yourself giving adequate core subject knowledge as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be working closely with the school’s SENCO in making sure each childs individual care plan is followed to the exact word, and that you are implementing the plan in a correct and careful manor.
Role Requirements – In this role you will need a 2:1 Psychology degree, with adequate core subject knowledge being available to the SEN students during 1:1 sessions. You will need to have fantastic communication skills to be able to converse and help the student understand the curriculum, which will help to give the best possible opportunity in making sure they receive the highest standard of education available. You will need a patient and supportive attitude, giving encouragement and inspiration to the students helping them to develop and learn comfortably.
