1:1 English or Maths Teaching Assistant – Primary role supporting literacy and/or numeracy – Graduate Paid School Experience

This modern and successful primary school are looking to welcome an English or Maths graduate into their already successful department to support with the delivery of lessons, practical sessions and small group interventions.

English or Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant Overview:

• Literacy and Numeracy Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:1 or strong A Level in Maths or English
• Paid £300 – £325 per week, term-time only
• Monday to Friday, full-time role
• Interviews in January
• Long-term role with excellent opportunities to progress onto teacher training if you wish to
• Large primary school that are driven to improve literacy and numeracy in their school
• Central Birmingham
• All training given
• Support in the classroom with English and Maths
• Lead small group interventions outside of the classroom

What will you need?

• Flexible and adaptable approach to your work
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes and willing to work with a wide range of age groups, abilities and backgrounds, including children with SEN
• Strong academic background – minimum 2:1 and strong A Levels
• Transferable experience highly desirable
