Are you a recent UK based Core Subject graduate with a passion for your specialist subject and a desire to find a new and exciting position in the Birmingham area for the academic year?

We are currently working with a highly-regarded secondary academy based in the Birmingham (B6) area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing 1:1 GCSE Tutor to their learning support department in a full-time role for the academic year.

In this role as a 1:1 GCSE Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support to GCSE students struggling with their academic progression in the Tutors specialist subject.

1:1 GCSE Tutor – Role Information:

• 1:1 GCSE Tutor
• Providing 1:1 & small group GCSE support to Year 11 students
• Focusing support sessions around academic weak points of students
• Located in Birmingham (B6 area)
• Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
• Paid £450 per week during term time
• Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

1:1 GCSE Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject degree
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
• Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to keep young people engaged and proactive
