Would you want the opportunity to expand your teaching skills and techniques alongside an experienced and talented SEN staff department, under the guidance of an inspiring SENCO?
This warm and inclusive primary school in the centre of Leeds is looking to find a passionate and motivated Psychology graduate, intent on taking their first steps into a teaching career offering academic and emotional support to their pupils with additional behavioural needs. 1:1 Primary SEN Support:
- Working individually supporting children with additional behavioural needs both academically and socially
- Making sure sessions are specific to the child’s needs and requirements, aided by the school SENCO as 1:1 Primary SEN Support
- Organising and conducting own pupil specific sessions
- Utilising learned subject knowledge and displaying to both staff and students
- Developing and enhancing own teaching skills and attributes
- Paid £300-£325 per week, term time only as 1:1 Primary SEN Support
- Immediate Start as 1:1 Primary SEN Support
What do I need to apply?
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree
- Brilliant organisation and admin skills
- Fantastic communication skills
- Passion and motivation to work with children who have additional behavioural needs
- Ability to remain patient and understanding in challenging situations
- Able to work across subject spectrum
- Commitment to the development of the schools children
