1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Key Information:
- 1:1 SEN Support Assistant role
- Fantastic school
- Located in Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS7)
- £70-£90 per day, term time only
- Monday – Friday school hours, full time
- Fantastic SENCO and support department
- Visible and supportive SLT
- Easily accessible via public transport links
1:1 SEN Support Assistant – The Role:
- Support young people with special educational needs
- Deliver 1:1/group interventions
- Support children with emotional and social difficulties
- If required, be able to manage challenging behaviour
- Liaise with your SENCo regarding progress of children
- Empathetic but firm approach
1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Person Specification:
- 1st class or 2:1 degree (psychology or relatable degree preferred)
- Strong academic background – e.g. A levels and GCSEs
- Previous experience working with young people – essential
- Experience with SEN and/or challenging behaviour – desirable
- Enthusiastic and uplifting personality
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
