1:1 SEN Support Worker – The Role:
This exciting role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to work within a talented and experienced inclusion department who will help guide you through your responsibilities as you take your first steps into a career in education.
Your role consists of leading 1:1 sessions for students with special educational needs so it is important that you can cater to a wide range of needs and tailor your sessions accordingly. The school has requested for a candidate who is patient and empathetic, committed to helping their students’ academic and social development.
1:1 SEN Support Worker – Person Specification:
- 2.1 or 1st class degree (preferably psychology)
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Previous work with children is desirable
- Supportive and inspiring personality
- Patient and empathetic mentality is crucial
- Strong academic background
- Passionate about education
