Person Specification:
This vibrant and welcoming Secondary school are looking for a high achieving science graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in their degree. Ideally this will be from a Russell Group University. You must be a resilient and strongminded individual who can adapt to the needs of each student. Good subject knowledge is crucial and a willingness to understand the national curriculum in greater depth.
You will receive essential training from day one with support from i-teachers and the school. You will specifically support the Science department and help with exciting practical’s and theory lessons. Your main role will be to work with students 1:1 and is small groups as your confidence grows. Intervention sessions are extremely important to targeted students progression and you will play a key part in this.
This well regarded secondary school is located in Wolverhampton, with excellent transport links and large car park the school is very accessible. This school has a fantastic Science department that are highly enthusiastic about working with graduates who are equally as passionate about education and the subject matter as them. The school has previously worked with graduates in a similar capacity in both the English and Maths departments, all of which made a huge impact on the school.
