Academic Learning Mentor

Academic Learning Mentor

  • Working closely with individuals or small groups with the aim to improve progress and ensure attainment!
  • You could be working with students who need help grasping concepts or those who require support to go above and beyond
  • You will be working with class teachers and liaising with different members of staff around the school
  • You will have the chance to implement your own strategies and use your expert subject knowledge to help the progress of others

Academic Learning Mentor

  • You will need to have graduated from a Russell Group university with a 2.1 or above degree
  • Various degree subjects are considered and welcomed
  • Strong A-Levels and GCSEs are required
  • Some prior experience working with young people would be highly advantageous but not mandatory
  • Determined and motivated attitude to make a difference is needed!
