Are you a recent UK based English, Mathematics or Science subject graduate with a strong academic background and a desire to find a full-time Academic Support Tutor role in the Stoke-on-Trent area for the remainder of the academic year?

i-teachers are currently working with a forward-thinking and ambitious secondary academy located in the Stoke-on-Trent area who are eager to add an Academic Support Tutor to their Year 11 department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as an Academic Support Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to Year 11 GCSE students in preparation for their GCSE exams within the English, Mathematics or Science subject.

Academic Support Tutor – Role Information:

• Academic Support Tutor
• Located in Stoke-on-Trent
• Providing tailored 1:1 & small group GCSE academic support
• Based within one secondary school
• Paid £460 per week before tax during term time only
• Monday to Friday contracted role – Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
• March 2025 to July 2025

Academic Support Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK English, Mathematics or Science based degree
• Prior experience tutoring, mentoring or working with children
• Naturally kind and outgoing individual
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about career working in your specialist subject
