Your role will see you work closely with the schools SENCo and other faculty members in order to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for students. You will work with students on a 1:1 basis as they work towards their individual learning plans and you will provide feedback where appropriate.
You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) which will enable you to build relationships with all stakeholders. You will have a strong academic record with a minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, ideally from a Russell Group University. You will have demonstrable experience working or volunteering with young people with SEN and be able to show a thorough understanding of SEN in the classroom. You will have a genuine commitment to pursuing a career in Educational Psychology (or education more generally) and be available for the full academic year. You will be resilient in order to be successful in a role that is as challenging as it is rewarding.
