This particular school is looking for a hard working passionate graduate with a will to help children develop and progress with behavioural needs and make sure they are given the best opportunity to reach their full potential. This school has a fantastic SEN department which is understanding and proactive about any issues a child may face and any specific needs they may have. They strive to offer the correct care and development plans for each individual child, and want to make sure that each staff member is as driven and committed to doing so as possible. Each child is given a fair and equal opportunity to perform academically to the best that they possibly can, with a positive outlook and any social or emotional issues that may arise.
The successful candidate must have a hard working and inspiring attitude, and be ready to offer themselves to help the children in the school in whatever situation may arise. The job itself requires the candidate to offer support during literacy/numeracy lessons or 1:1 sessions with pupils, as well as being part of the pastoral team and offering themselves to students in need of emotional or academic support. Depending on the success of the candidate there will be fantastic opportunities to progress into teacher training, and develop your teaching skills to allow you to have the correct skills and attributes to progress in your teaching career.
