Are you a recent Psychology, Educational Studies or Counselling graduate looking to begin your teaching career inside a warm and supportive secondary school?

Do you have a passion for helping children with their additional behavioural needs, and want to give them a better chance of academic success as a Graduate Behaviour Teaching Assistant?

Would you benefit from the opportunity of working within a committed SEN department under the guidance of a dedicated and experienced SENCO as a Graduate Behaviour Teaching Assistant?

This warm and supportive secondary school in the centre of Leeds is looking to hire a recent Psychology related graduate, with a passion for supporting children with additional behavioural needs and helping them to develop their academic and emotional abilities inside and out of the school classroom in your role as a Graduate Behaviour Teaching Assistant.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant – Graduate

  • Work in a vibrant and supportive secondary school
  • Be part of an experienced and committed SEN department
  • Develop techniques and methods under the guidance of a fantastic SENCO
  • Work 1:1 with additional behavioural needs students as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant
  • Organise and conduct your own session as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant
  • Immediate Start
  • Paid £300-£325 as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Role Specifications

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree
  • Brilliant subject knowledge
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Passionate and supportive attitude as Graduate Behaviour Teaching Assistant
  • Patience throughout school day and 1:1 sessions
  • Committed to developing and enhancing the academic knowledge of SEN/SEMH students
