Are you a recent Psychology graduate with a Team Teach qualification waiting to display and utilise your extended teaching knowledge inside an inclusive and supportive secondary academy?

Behaviour Teaching Assistant – Overview:

  • Working alongside talented and experienced SEN department offering excellent academic and emotional support to children with additional behavioural needs
  • Display and utilising team teach knowledge and skillset allowing you to be a prominent figure in a wonderfully dedicated SEN department
  • Under the guidance and support of wonderful SENCO
  • Organising and conducting individual group sessions structured to students needs
  • Offering academic knowledge across the subject spectrum
  • Paid £300-£325 per week, term time only as Behaviour Teaching Assistant
  • Immediate Start!

This supportive and unique secondary academy in the heart of Leeds is intent on developing and improving the academic and emotional ability of its students with additional behavioural needs, being supplied by a range of experienced and expert teachers and teaching assistants. Under the guidance of a dedicated and inspirational SENCO, the school has helped offer students with additional behavioural needs a range of opportunities and skills which have allowed them to achieve to their highest potential, whilst also enjoying their lessons and taking part in extra-curricular activities.

What you need to apply:

To apply for this wonderful role inside of a unique and motivational secondary academy, you must firstly have obtained a Psychology based degree as well as having a Team Teach qualification with a vast amount of teaching knowledge and techniques, ready to organise and conduct individual sessions with students who have additional behavioural needs. Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must, making sure the student is comfortable and focused on completing the set tasks.
