To be considered for this Biology & Chemistry Science Technician opportunity you must have the following:
*1st or 2:1 Russell Group (preferable) Science related degree
*Education or Lab experience
*Strong subject knowledge of Sciences – Biology, Chemistry or Physics

The role of the Science Technician is to support and develop experiments and practical lessons in Biology & Chemistry at both GCSE and A Level. This includes supporting the teaching staff in all areas of science and supervising student learning activities. There is also room to get involved in the enrichment programmes that this fantastic school offers!

Responsibilities will include the preparation of workshop apparatus/equipment and materials as required, advising and assisting in the preparation of practical’s and controlled assessments, maintenance and cleaning of equipment after use. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to supervise and assist students during lessons, working with the class teacher to develop and deliver lessons.

Passion for sciences, especially Biology and or Chemistry, is a must for this role! You will need to have a 1st or 2:1 from a top university (Russell Group is preferable) you will be teaching students from across the globe in GCSE, AS and A-level topics. It is vital that you have an engaging presence and can communicate clearly with the classroom.
