Biology Graduate Role – Science Teaching Assistant – Person specification / about the role

For this role you will need a 2:1 degree in Biology, ideally this will be from a Russell Group University. You must be a confident individual who can communicate complex scientific concepts to a variety of age groups in a way that’s consumable and exciting. Furthermore, the ideal graduate for this role will be highly personable and able to adapt their approach to a variety of different students. The role itself will involve supporting a variety of Science teaching in their day-to-day tasks such as planning lessons and conducting whole class tasks. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to work closely with small groups who are finding certain aspects of Science difficult to help identify their weaknesses within the subject and help build a successful plan to help overcome learning barriers.
