To be considered for this Biology Graduate Science Technician opportunity you must have the following:
*1st or 2:1 Russell Group (preferable) Science related degree – Biology specialism ideal
*Education or Lab experience
*Strong subject knowledge of Sciences – Biology, Chemistry or Physics
The role of the Science Technician is to support and develop experiments and practical lessons mainly in Biology at both GCSE and A Level. This includes supporting the teaching staff in all areas of science and supervising student learning activities.
Responsibilities will include the preparation of workshop apparatus/equipment and materials as required, advising and assisting in the preparation of practical’s and controlled assessments, maintenance and cleaning of equipment after use. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to supervise and assist students during lessons, working with the class teacher to develop and deliver lessons.
