As a BSL Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in class, utilising the sensory rooms/outdoor play areas, and creating a fun learning environment.

BSL Teaching Assistant – Role Description

• BSL Teaching Assistant – graduate role
• Paid teaching support placement £350-£450
• Needed after half term
• Based in the same school for the full academic year – September – July
• Full-time, Monday – Friday role
• Support a pupil who needs translation through BSL
• Work closely with the class teacher to identify which pupils require additional support
• Utilise the sensory rooms at appropriate times of the day
• Adhere to learning support plans and record progress
• Act as a good role model for all pupils
