Chemistry Graduate Intervention Coach – The Role:
Dive into this exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented and supportive chemistry department within a warm school, a perfect environment for you to learn and develop your teaching and skills. The school has requested for an individual who has recently graduated from university with a real passion for chemistry and now is eager to share their specialist knowledge.
Your role as a Chemistry intervention coach will be to support class teachers by working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, offering intervention sessions where you will closely monitor their progress and offer additional help and support where required – crucial for their academic development. Due to the nature of the role it is paramount that you are capable of catering for a range of academic ability so a patient and empathetic mentality is key.
Chemistry Graduate Intervention Coach – Person Specification:
- 2.1 or 1st class degree in Chemistry
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Previous work with children is desirable
