Chemistry Teacher – Open to NQTs – September 2019 start

We are working with a highly successful school that are looking to expand their Science Department and introduce someone who can continue their success and fit in with the vibrant and inclusive ethos. Overview of Chemistry Teacher role:

  • Full-time, permanent position including a direct contract through the school
  • Starting September 2019
  • MPS – UPS dependent on experience
  • Located in the heart of Birmingham (B12)
  • Shortlisting in February
  • Open to Newly Qualified Science Teachers
  • Working up to KS5 and teach BTEC Level 3

What will you need?

  • Be on track to have QTS by September 2019
  • Ideally a Chemistry degree, 2:1 or above
  • Excellent feedback from first term observations
  • Or proven track record of teaching success
  • In addition, you will need to be willing to have a heavy KS5 timetable
  • Ambitious and hard-working
  • Willing to continue the school’s inclusive and driven ethos
  • You will be a reflective teacher with commitment to your own development
