Core Subject Tutor

Do you possess experience tutoring at GCSE or A Level in a core subject and are now looking to transfer this experience into a classroom setting?

Are you passionate about teaching, with a desire to gain classroom experience before starting your PGCE?

With the build-up to GCSE exams now underway, secondary schools are looking for passionate, self motivated and confident graduates to deliver bespoke 1:1 and small group interventions to students that require additional support.

Core Subject Tutor – Benefits

  • £450 – £500 per week
  • Full-time, long-term role within a single provision (no ad-hoc supply work)

  • Guided by an experienced department to utilize and build upon your tutoring experience

Core Subject Tutor – The Role:

  • Sought-after Core Subject Tutor position
  • 0830 – 1530 Monday to Friday
  • Located in Greater Manchester
  • Collaborating alongside experienced classroom teachers
  • Working with a range of targeted learners, in group settings or in a 1:1 capacity
  • Differentiating your support to suit individual academic needs and dispositions
  • Interviewing immediately

Core Subject Tutor – Ideal Pre-Requisites:

  • Core Degree from high-calibre British University
  • Strong prior academic background (A Levels)
  • Tutoring or coaching experience desirable
  • Passionate about education and academic development
