This supportive secondary school are looking to hire a passionate and dedicated graduate to begin their teaching career inside of an experienced and committed school, intent on giving the best education they possibly can to all students and the graduates that join their school .
Graduate Cover Supervisor – Graduate Paid School Experience

- Gain valuable knowledge and techniques from other staff
- Take on a cover rota in a variety of subjects and develop you skills as a teacher
- All resources and lesson plans given – the perfect opportunity to build your confidence!
- Organise and conduct your own 1:1 sessions when not covering
- Work with both small groups and individual students
- Paid £70 – £75 per day, term-time only
- Immediate start with interviews being organised on an ongoing basis
Role Expectations
- Support a range of departments and students with day-to-day cover needs
- Must be willing to support with classwork in a variety of subjects
- Offer support and guidance throughout the sessions
- Work on a 1:1 and small group basis and be able to effectively record data
- Be patient and supportive of any issues or queries the student may have
To be considered you will need…
- Minimum 2:1 degree with strong A Levels
- Experience working with young people, either voluntary or paid
- Passionate and dedicated to your own career progression
- Flexible regarding which core subject department you are supporting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your approach
- Patience when dealing with challenging behaviour
