Drama Teacher – What the school is looking for:
This forward thinking and driven secondary school in the Leeds area is looking for a confident and enthusiastic qualified Drama Teacher, with a real passion for their subject able to put across their subject knowledge and skills inside of a school environment. They want a teacher with ‘Good’ or above lessons observations, able to plan and deliver creative and exciting lessons that will keep students interacted and focused throughout.
Role Information:
For this role you will be joining a flourishing performing arts department as a valued and respected Drama Teacher delivering fantastic learning experiences to secondary students in the Drama subject. You will be able to utilise and properly access the schools brilliant developed CPD training programme, giving you the best opportunities to reach your full potential and grow to the best of your ability. You will be working alongside a plethora of experienced and talented performing arts teachers, able to provide fantastic support and guidance in the early stages of your introduction to the school. A key part of your role as Drama Teacher will be to implement the schools forward thinking and supportive ethos in the students, making sure they feel valued and offered the best possible opportunities in your subject. You will be working across the schools age ranges, adapting and delivering lessons based on the schools carefully modernised curriculum.
