EAL Teaching Assistant – Languages Graduate

This EALTeaching Assistant role will provide you with the opportunity to put the skills & knowledge gained over the last few years into perfect use in this fantastic secondary classroom support role. To be successful in this application you must be a languages graduate with a strong academic record and a passion for education. Previous experience working with children or in a teaching capacity is not essential but would be desirable.

About the role

As an EAL Teaching Assistant you will be working within the languages department of the school, supporting a range of outstanding class teachers. As your confidence and experience grows you will be assigned to lead 1 to 1 sessions and group work and become more involved in the key elements of day to day teaching such as lesson planning. This role also involves working closely with the schools SENCo – to support pupils with additional needs.
