EAL Teaching Assistant | French & Spanish Graduate
This exciting post offers a recent graduate a great opportunity to join a thriving Secondary School in Wolverhampton working with students in KS3 and KS4. The role will involve you running 1:1 intervention sessions, building up to working with small groups, and even running parts of lessons as your confidence grows. Your role will be to bring on literacy skills with those students struggling with language. You will be able to work with international new arrivals to support their transition and reading, writing and verbal communication.
To be successfully appointed to this MFL Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have a degree which includes Spanish and/or French from a UK institution, ideally Russell Group, with a minimum 2:1 result and strong A Levels. Experience working and living abroad would be ideal, so that you can engage with students who are in a similar situation. You will sit within the MFL Department, supporting French & Spanish lessons.
