This wonderfully warm and charming primary school in Bexley are looking for the ideal 1:1 Keyworker who can make a big difference to the daily life of a child who is on the autistic spectrum. You will need to have a strong academic background with a degree in Psychology, Education or a core subject as well as having strong A Levels. You will also need to have experience of tutoring / mentoring a young person either in a paid or a voluntary capacity.
Your role will see you support and nurture a student who is on the autistic spectrum, and needs focused attention as they work towards their individual learning plans. You will work closely with the SENCO and other staff members, to ensure the best possible learning and well-being outcomes. Day to day you will support in basic literacy and numeracy, as well as supporting learning through play.
