This welcoming primary school are looking for an Early Years Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to one of their Reception pupils. Pupils are provided with a creative curriculum where they are inspired to be motivated learners and their intellectual and social potential is unlocked.

Early Years Learning Support Assistant – Key Information

• Early Years Learning Support Assistant
• Based in Bolton (BL4)
• Excellent public transport links
• School hours, term time only
• £460 per week
• March 2025 – July 2025

Early Years Learning Support Assistant – The Role

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to reception pupil with SEN
• Expertly utilise and follow the pupil’s EHCP
• Opportunity to build up vital classroom experience
• Assist class teacher with preparation of learning materials
• Help create an inclusive environment
• Be a positive role-model to all pupils

Early Years Learning Support Assistant – Person Specification 

• Degree in Early Years, Education or Psychology OR demonstrable experience in an Early Years setting
• Previous school experience is essential
• Proactive and resilient
• Commitment to safeguarding
• Good classroom management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for being an Early Years Learning Support Assistant
