To be considered for this Early Years Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
- 1st or 2:1 degree – Russell Group (preferable) in psychology or a core subject
- A passion to support others
- Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred
This is your opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge and past experiences into practice, by supporting students within the EYFS department, focus on Reception classes, at this incredibly popular and welcoming Lewisham primary school. This Early Years teaching assistant role will combine relevant training and paid work experience which would support any future academic applications.
You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing support for an Early Years child who has autism and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported.
To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Education and will need to be a supportive, caring and build be able to build good relationships with the students that you would be working with. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists, Child Psychologists or teachers keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support for children who have autism and communication difficulties.
