This primary school in the centre of Leeds is looking to recruit a university graduate with a passion for working with children, devoted to improving the academic and emotional ability of the primary schools children.

Early Years Teaching Assistant –

  • Work inside a warm and supportive Early Years staff department
  • Gain invaluable knowledge and techniques about how to teach Early Years Children
  • Develop understanding of working with early years children as Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Display degree subject knowledge and teaching understanding
  • Influence the academic and emotional ability of schools children
  • Opportunity to progress into teacher of PGCE training
  • Paid £300-£325 per week, term time only as Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Immediate Start as an Early Years Teaching Assistant

Role Requirements –

  • Minimum university 2:1 degree
  • Passion and dedication towards development of children
  • Brilliant communication skills
  • Motivating and inspiring attitude towards becoming teacher
  • Flexibility regarding type of work
  • Attentive and supportive towards Children

Role Specifications –

  • Helping to organise and conduct Early Years Class lessons
  • Making sure children are interested and interactive throughout the lesson
  • Ability to converse and communicate with students regarding any educational issues
  • Patient and understanding attitude with children
  • Able to maintain focus of children
