For this exciting opportunity to become an English Academic Mentor you must have a 2:1 or above degree and be passionate about English and Education. If you have had previous experience tutoring that would be beneficial, if not it isn’t an essential requirement for this specific role. The school are keen to meet a graduate who has the desire to become a Teacher to help support the English department.
The role will involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups across the English department to help them achieve their full potential. You will also be assisting the class teacher in lessons to ensure progress is being made. You will make a positive contribution to the learning of students by using your expert subject knowledge, helping to enhance the department’s high achievement levels.
