This school has an established record of working with passionate graduates who are seeking paid work experience prior to teacher training. All of the graduates that have previously worked at the school have all reported that the experience has not only taught them a lot but has also been really rewarding. Furthermore, the majority of graduates we work with go on to progress onto teacher training the following year.

You will work as an Academic Learning Mentor under the guidance of the Head of English, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, many of the students that you will work with will be struggling with certain aspects of the curriculum, making your role vital for the school’s progress 8 scores. The English Academic Mentor should be a recent graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree, strong academic background and transferable skills, as well as good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers.
