Graduate Academic Mentor – English Graduate
- Role suitable for a high-achieving English Graduates (2.1 or above)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, long-term role
- Fabulous experience prior to teacher training
- Role based in Enfield
- Train to teach with the school
- Support students within the English department
What will you be doing as a Graduate Academic Mentor?
- Collaborating within the English department
- Observing outstanding lessons
- As your confidence grows, take on your own lessons
- Earning whilst you learn from experienced and outstanding teachers
- Deliver your own 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
- Using your knowledge within either English Language and/or Literature to support the English department
- Support KS3, KS4 and KS5
What will you need?
- English related degree, 2.1 or 1st
- Passion and enthusiasm to work in education
- Able to communicate effectively
- Previous experience working with young people
- Confidence to deliver lessons to a range of students
