The Role
- English Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Minimum 2:1 degree with strong A Levels & GCSEs
- Experience working with young people highly desirable

In this role your top priorities will be to support the English department. You will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis as well as assisting teachers in-class in a variety of ways. You will become a role-model for students and work to boost confidence, motivation and ultimately progress in this crucial support role. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers in the field as you observe different teaching styles in order to help you form your own. This is all excellent preparation for your eventual teaching career and the school offers the School Direct teacher training programme which would be a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring teacher!
To be considered for this role you must be an imaginative and inventive graduate who has a degree at a 2:1 or better and the clear determination to pursue a career in teaching.
