English Mentor – About You

• English Mentor role – Graduate position
• Minimum 2:2 grade in English related subject
• Excellent academic background
• Ideally a graduate that has experience mentoring or tutoring
• Passion for your subject area
• Aspirations to work in education
• Proactive, flexible, and friendly individual

English Mentor – The Role

• English Mentor – Long-term role
• Full-time, Monday – Friday position
• Paid teaching placement £80 – £90 per day (term-time only)
• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small group intervention-based settings
• Target identified students to offer a range of tutoring support in your subject area
• Work with high achieving students to prep for GCSEs/examinations
• Report back to Class Teacher on individual progress
• Work with other tutors on campus
