English Teacher Person Specification:

This English teacher vacancy is ideal for an accomplished English teacher or an eager NQT who is looking to develop in to an outstanding English teacher at this supportive school. All applicants must have experience in teaching up to A Level and an understanding of the KS3 & KS4 curriculum.

English Teacher – About the role:

This modern, recently refurbished school, has all the benefits and challenges of an inner-city that you would expect. The school is well connected and well resourced – you will have your own classroom from day one. The English department is one of the most successful departments within the school with a recent GCSE A*-C / 9-4 grade being at a very high 75%.

You will report to the Head of English who will support you through in finding your feet during your first year at the school, if you are an NQT you will receive bespoke training dedicated towards supporting you to become an outstanding English Teacher.
