The Role

  • Long-term position in Mitcham, CR4
  • Negotiable salary, dependent on experience
  • Plan and deliver lessons and tailor schoolwork to the needs of SEND children
  • Teach all students according to their needs and personal outcomes
  • Actively engage in the process of curriculum development and individual learning plans
  • Commitment to safeguarding all children
  • Promote well-being and positive mental health
  • Manage challenging behaviour
  • Prepare pupils to be as independent as possible

Person Specification

  • 2:1 or above in English related subject
  • QTS obtained
  • Confident and patient personality
  • Track record of supporting pupils in secondary/primary education
  • Experience teaching SEND pupils
  • Excellent classroom management skills
