Experienced SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
Have you recently graduated with a 1st class or 2:1 degree and are looking to pursue a career in education?
Do you have experience working with students with PMLD/ASD/Down Syndrome/ SEMH and would like to gain further experience in a primary school in London, Southwark for the rest of the academic year?
Perhaps you know your skills and experience in SEN are completely transferable to a classroom setting and you are willing to accept this rewarding and challenging new role?
This OUTSTANDING primary school is looking for a SEN Graduate Teaching assistant to use their skills and experience to support a child on a 1:1 basis for the rest of the academic year.
SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Full academic year in one school
- January start
- Paid £75 – £85 a day
- Mon – Fri working hours
- SEN Graduate teaching assistant experience
- Graded “Outstanding” -Ofsted
- Supportive SLT and SENCo
- Perfect SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant experience for aspiring Educational Psychologist
Personal Specification- SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
- 2:1 or above degree, in any subject
- Psychology/Education/Counselling degrees are preferred but not essential
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential!
- Resilient, patient and empathetic towards children’s needs.

A very high proportion of pupils have learning difficulties and disabilities.
