About you:
An exceptional EYFS learning support assistant will be dedicated, compassionate, energetic, creative and fervent about supporting young pupils to reach their educational milestones. Academically, you will need to have at least a 2:1 in your degree (we will consider degrees in Psychology, Education and core subjects) as well as good A Levels. It would be highly advantageous if you were to have some experience of working with young people, either in a tutoring or a mentoring capacity.
The Role:
Day to day, an EYFS Learning Support Assistant will support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of curriculum projects. You will be liaising with teachers and parents to ensure everybody is working towards ensuring the very best outcomes for pupils. As well as providing wider classroom support, you will work with pupils in small groups on activity based work and on a 1:1 basis with pupils that require additional support.
