GCSE English Academic Coach:
- Offering support to KS4 English students
- 1:1 and small cohort support
- Excellent experience for PGCE applications
- Teacher training opportunities within the school
- “Outstanding” graded school (Ofsted)
- Required: 1st or upper 2nd class degree in English (or related) from a Russell Group University
- Desired: Experience tutoring / mentoring young people (paid or voluntary)

In your role as an Academic Coach you will support KS4 students in the classroom, in small groups and also on a 1:1 basis as they work towards meeting and surpassing their learning objectives. You will be under the guise of the inspirational head of department and class teachers as you develop your confidence and skill set. You will be working with students who vary in ability so you will need be able to engage and communicate effectively with those of varying aptitudes.
This fantastic school are seeking to appoint a highly academic graduate who has at least a 2:1 in their English degree and has graduated from a Russell university. Additionally, strong A Levels are a must with a passion for education and supporting ambitious students. A fantastic English Academic Coach will have a firm understanding of their degree subject and be able to display energy, adaptability, creativity and have an interest in supporting extra-curricular projects.
