This vibrant school are seeking to appoint an ambitious graduate of Geography who can imbue the schools vision & values whilst displaying boundless passion and energy for their degree subject.
You will ideally have achieved a 2:1 or higher in your degree subject (minimum) and have a strong academic background. Also, any experience tutoring or mentoring young people would be advantageous, however, this is not an absolute prerequisite. The school are looking for their Geography Teaching Assistant to be able to display high levels of communication, be adaptable and versatile whilst projecting confidence and energy.
You will be working across all year groups, assisting in the preparation, delivery and assessment of activities and projects. You will support subject leaders in communicating ideas and methods of learning to students, in a way that is interesting and attainable. You will also assist in implementing study pathways, and supporting students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and also whole class delivery. In your role you will be required to show unwavering energy, creativity and passion, as this is the ethos that the faculty display to their students day to day. In return you will be paid for receiving invaluable experience, amongst students who have a real hunger to learn.
