Are you a recent graduate who is looking to develop your confidence, knowledge and skills in the classroom before committing to teacher training?

i-teachers specialises in placing graduates in long-term, paid support roles in schools, in order to develop your skills and gain a fascinating insight into the world of teaching, before making the commitment to train to teach.

This specific school are looking for a Geography Graduate to join their Humanities team for the full academic year.

Geography Teaching Assistant

  • £60 – £70 per day, term-time only
  • Long-term, full-time role, ASAP start
  • Geography degree or other relevant specialism
  • Minimum 2:1 with strong A Levels
  • Supporting through Year 7 – Year 11
  • In class support – working with small groups or assisting the teacher
  • Create and lead interventions
  • Cover lessons and help the teacher with lesson planning
  • Must be supportive, passionate and committed to gaining experience in education
  • Located in Bordesley with fabulous transport links
  • Excellent career development
