To be considered for this Geography Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
- 1st or 2:1 in Geography related degree and strong A Levels
- Experience with young people highly desirable
- Passion and commitment to work in education
- Adaptability and a proactive nature
The Geography Teaching Assistant role itself will find you supporting the Humanities department to deliver their broad and rich Geography Curriculum. Helping students gain a better understanding of learning objectives whilst preparing for exams, you will see yourself supporting inside and outside of the class, as well as leading your own interventions and even taking lesson cover.
It would be beneficial if you have gained a 2:1 or higher in your Geography related degree and that the subject. You will need to show a clear passion for your subject, commitment to education and ability to work positively and flexibly.
