Graduate Learning Mentor

  • Paid £300 – £400 per week
  • Long-term, full-time role (Mon-Fri)
  • Barking & Dagenham borough
  • Secondary school & sixth form KS3-KS5
  • High achieving Graduate role
  • Supporting secondary students
  • Fantastic experience for aspiring secondary teachers

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Be a Russell Group (or Top 10) university graduate
  • Have a strong interest in working within education long-term
  • Previous experience working with young people


This Graduate Learning Mentor requires a high achieving graduate who can really make a positive impact upon the academic and pastoral outcomes for the children you support.

You will use your specialist knowledge from your degree in order to boost student progress and attainment. You will also work alongside the pastoral team, ensuring students’ well-being is kept in check and assisting where there are any concerns.

In this role no two days will be the same. This role is equal in its rewards and challenges. You should be a graduate who is an excellent communicator, organised and efficient.

This Graduate Learning Mentor would be ideal someone who is looking to train to teach, but would first like to gain paid school based experience.
