Graduate Attendance and Behaviour Mentor – Pastoral – KS5
Are you graduating this summer and have volunteered whilst at university in a mentoring and coaching role that has sparked an interest in education?
Would you like to secure an opportunity starting from September for the whole academic year to develop you experience?
Perhaps you have experience in sports, counselling, mentoring or coaching and would like to continue this in a paid, graduate role?
This school are looking for a team of graduates to join them in September to support their students who are at risk of low attendance and poor behaviour to achieve their potential.

- Experience is essential – this can be working with young people in any capacity
- Working with students to set, monitor and progress targets
- Closely working with a variety of class teachers, parents and other relevant people in school
- Located in Birmingham – easily accessible into Birmingham City Centre
- Starting September 2019 with an induction week at the end of August for which you will be paid – interviews being arranged on an ongoing basis
- Interviews to be held in May and shortlisting is taking place on an ongoing basis
- Role until July 2020 with opportunity to progress into the following year
- Paid up to £20,070 – term-time only, pro-rata

Role Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 degree and strong A Levels
- Passionate about educating students and making a difference
- Ability to communicate with a range of people from teachers, students and parents
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in education, counselling or coaching
- Transferable experience is essential – volunteering, youth work, tutoring, holiday clubs
