Graduate Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary – JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Starting ASAP – Full time, long term role
  • Monday – Friday hours
  • Paid up to £325 per week (term time)
  • Working closely with a Year 6 child
  • Work 1:1 with the child and other children

Graduate Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary – PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong academic background – Good A-Level & GCSE results
  • Passion for Education
  • Sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with hard to reach children
  • Previous experience with challenging behaviour – essential!

This exciting role will see you join the school’s behavioural team, working closely with a Year 6 pupil. Children may be required to leave their lesson either through causing disruption in the classroom or other reasons. As a Graduate Behaviour Support Assistant you will work with the child to understand their needs and remove any barriers to learning.

Children at this school come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, some may have social and emotional difficulties or special educational needs. You will be provided with excellent training and support from the school and have the opportunity to work alongside other talented graduates.
