Graduate Cover Supervisor

  • Graduate role – Core subject degree ideal
  • Start in September for the full academic year
  • Work Monday – Friday 30 hours per week

The ideal candidate for this Graduate Cover Supervisor role will be a dedicated graduate who is confident working with secondary school pupils. You must be a resilient role model and a quick learner. This is a perfect position for someone who is applying for a PGCE in the near future and would like to develop their skills. You will need a degree with a 2:1 or above and some evidence of working with children/pupils in the past.

The school believe in utilising cover supervisors to gain invaluable experience for your career development. You will also have the opportunity to deliver vital intervention sessions for pupils who are struggling in English, Maths and Science.

This Graduate Cover Supervisor role offers the perfect introduction to the teaching environment. The role involves a fantastic training and development programme, growing your confidence in the classroom. You will initially be working with small groups of pupils and covering lessons as your grow into your role.
