Graduate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a creative, enthusiastic and caring graduate with the ability to engage and support young children who have just started their education journey?

Maybe you are considering starting your teacher training in 2020 in Early Years and would love to gain paid work experience as a Graduate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant beforehand?

Perhaps you have gained some experience, but would like to spend time developing your teaching skills prior to teacher training?

If you answered yes to the above, then this Graduate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity could be the role for you!

Graduate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

  • Graduate Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Paid £300 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Full time, Monday to Friday role, long term
  • Supporting children ages 4-5, especially those with SEN
  • Deliver 1:1 or group interventions to support children’s development
  • Create and design your own lessons with support from the class teacher
  • Track progress of children
  • Located in Bradford
  • Starting ASAP

Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree
  • Strong academic background (e.g. A-Levels)
  • Previous experience working with children – essential
  • Previous experience supporting those with SEN – desirable
  • Caring, patient and empathetic nature
  • Strong communication skills and resilience
