The Role
- Graduate English & Maths tutor for KS3-4
- Full time tutor role before commencing teacher training in chosen subject
- Minimum 2:1 degree with strong A Levels & GCSEs
- Experience working with young people highly desirable

Starting as soon as possible, your key responsibilities in this role will be to tutor students in English & Maths across KS3&4. You will establish trust quickly and design learning interventions that will help break down barriers to learning for target students. You will become a role model, building effective working relationships with students and staff and report regularly to class teachers to monitor and evaluate student progress.
This role is ideal for someone that is aspiring to teach and train on the job, through school-based teacher training, as opposed to university based PGCE. The progression route will involve becoming an unqualified teacher next year in your degree subject and getting paid to train within the school. Leadership are keen to develop raw talent and will develop you into their ‘Outstanding’ teacher of the future.
