Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant – Secondary and Sixth Form

Inclusion Support Assistant – Secondary and Sixth Form
- Minimum 2:1 degree – all degrees considered, but Psychology and Core Subjects are in higher demand
- Some transferable experience is essential
- Fantastic training and support provided
- Paid up to £350 per week
- Large Secondary School in Birmingham
- Role starting September until the end of the academic year
- You will need to have resilience, ambition and positivity

This role involves joining the schools fantastic inclusion team. The school have an excellent support system in place for their students who have difficulties managing their behaviour and emotions. Every student will follow a curriculum matched to their needs and interests and a wide range of strategies are used to support them individually. This is truly excellent experience for any graduate keen to build a career in education.
You will have access to full training to be able to effectively deliver these sessions and support these students both with their academic and personal development.
This role is ideal for a resilient, patient and committed graduate with a 2:1 or above degree who is keen to gain more school based experience. This role would suit an aspiring Teacher, Mentor, Counsellor or Educational Psychologist keen to enhance your CV with the best skills and qualities to become a successful teacher. Ideally you will have relevant experience working with children either through voluntary placements at university or paid roles. Experience of working with vulnerable children or young people would be advantageous but not essential.
