A talented and hardworking Psychology graduate is sought after at this fantastic secondary in the Leeds area to join their exceptional SEN department for the coming academic year as a Graduate Learning Behaviour Mentor.

This warm and outgoing secondary school based in the Leeds area is the perfect environment for a passionate Psychology graduate to really hone their teaching ability and skillset. With an inspirational SENCO dedicated to the progression of their students with additional behavioural needs, as well as state of the art facilities and resources for both staff and students.

In your role as a Graduate Learning Behaviour Mentor you will be working closely with students who have additional behavioural needs, planning and delivering 1:1 specifically tailored sessions supporting the academic and emotional development of students inside and out of the classroom.

  • Full academic year – September 2019 start
  • Secondary school
  • Paid £300 – £325 per week, term time only as Graduate Learning Behaviour Mentor
  • Located in the Leeds area

Requirements for the role – Graduate Learning Behaviour Mentor:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Extensive degree subject knowledge
  • Passionate about supporting students with additional behavioural needs
  • Ability to plan and deliver specifically tailored SEN sessions
  • Supportive and motivating attitude
