Graduate Learning Mentor (Core Subjects) – Secondary Academy – Bradford (BD6)
Are you a recent core subject graduate with a passion for teaching and educating secondary school students?
Do you have the communication skills to work in 1:1 sessions with secondary students and enhance their core subject knowledge as a Graduate Learning Mentor?

This excellent secondary academy in the heart of Bradford is looking to hire recent Core Subject graduates, yearning for the opportunity to begin their teaching career under the guidance of a fantastic core subject department as a graduate learning mentor.
Graduate Learning Mentor –
- Ability to organise and conduct 1:1 sessions with students
- Educate and enhance learning ability of secondary school students
- Opportunity to work alongside dedicated and experienced staff department
- Use communication skills to help students with the school
- 2:1 core subject degree minimum requirement
- Paid £300-£325 per week, term time only
- Prior experience working with children ideal

They are committed to improving the individual learning skills of each child, with a fantastic support department across the school ready to give any child the time to speak about any issues, whether that be academically or at home.
In this role you will be expected to offer each child a range of core subject knowledge from yourself, allowing them to enhance their learning ability and achieve the highest grades they can to enhance their future opportunities. You will be working with students in both group and 1:1 sessions, using your communication skills to create a safe and stimulating environment in which the child is able to perform to the best of their ability.
You must possess a 2:1 core subject degree, and have a strong amount of subject knowledge which is available throughout the day to students, giving them the best opportunity to enhance their subject knowledge. You must also have good communication skills to interact with the students, and make sure that they are able to feel comfortable and able to explain any issues they may have regarding the curriculum, with a reasonable and educating response to their question. Prior experience working with children would be ideal.
